Dos & Don'ts
When it comes to photography there are many elements I can control and transform but also, there are some others I cannot. These are fatigue, exhaustion and stress expression. It is very common to see customers running late into the studio, attempting to switch from a high-paced workplace to a modeling set. To prevent these undesired situation, plan ahead in order to be on time. Coach yourself, make sure you eat well. Also stay away from red meat, caffeine and alcohol at least 48 hrs prior to the shoot.
Solid Colors, Solid Choice
Colors are a great way to express feelings and attitudes so just make sure you have a briefcase with different options in case you need them. With the exception of white, the use of solid colors is recommended, as busy patterns some times do not render the best quality of the picture, as opposed to solid vibrant colors. Fine stripes and checks can cause distortion to digital photographs as well.
If you are to bring a product to be shot at the studio, make sure it is in mint condition without any marking that might be distractive or unnecessary like a price tag, unwanted decals or normal tear and wear marks. However, in case some unexpected shortcoming alters the look of your product, it can be digitally corrected by the following promise: If you can imagine it, I can render it.
